This was a very busy weekend. A's new furniture arrived for her bedroom on Saturday AM so we got that all set up and it looks great! She's very excited about having more room to play and a princess bed to sleep in!
Yesterday we spent the majority of the morning re-arranging the bonus room in order to fit some (most...) of the stuff from our 5th bedroom into it. We migrated the kids PC out, along with all my stamping stuff... so the room is almost empty. Ken is going to do some minor wall repair, and then we'll move the guest room furniture into this smaller room. Once that's done - we can begin work on what is currently the "upstairs master"... it will become M's room. (Yeah, he's oldest so ace of spades... he gets the big room!). We need to rip the carpet out and put in pergo or bamboo due to his allergies... then we can move him in. Once his current room is cleared out - it will become the nursery when we're ready to do that.
Whew.
We're still debating on finishing the 3rd floor... we know it needs to be done, but the time and money to do it makes us both a little nervous I think. Just so many unknowns right now...
Anyway - the fun aspects of the weekend included a birthday dinner on Friday for our good friend Scott, and then a parents night out Saturday to one of my favourite italian restaurants in Raleigh - Vivace... it was a perfect night!
And now - it's Monday. Blech.
