I just read a story on the news about a man that tied his 13 year old son to a tree for 2 days, and the child died.

He tied his son to a tree.

To "teach him a lesson".

And the son is dead now.

It's been 100 degrees here in NC for the last week. Yesterday was a code red air quality day due to the smoke from the Hyde County fires.

I am sobbing my eyes out - at work - thinking about how that child must have suffered.
