Amelia is 8 months old TODAY! We celebrated by going to a park after work and then Moes Southwest for dinner. While she didn't get to partake in the food... she enjoyed the swing and walking around the park.
These pictures were snapped over the weekend... about (wow!) 5 years ago or so, Matthew and Ainsley attended my friend Ann's daughter E's birthday party. Ann's mom made these very cool tutu's for all the little girls that came to the party, and for Matthew - this AWESOME purple cape. I swear to God it is THE dressup garment that will stand the test of time in our house - Matthew wore it for months and months and Ainsley still dresses up to this day in it! JC snapped a very cute picture of Ainsley wearing it at the party (ever the tomboy...) that we have framed here at home... well now it is Amelia's turn to wear the cape!
We were re-arranging furniture on Saturday in Ains' room... and Amelia was in there and pulled the cape out of the cradle in the corner. She was playing with it, shaking it - and then I put it on her... she grabbed the hat next and it was just perfect for pictures!!
