Ainsley and I spent the weekend together as the boys were away at their First Year Y Guide Spring Outing. (And they had an absolute blast...)
It's a lot of pressure, these girly weekends...!! We ended up going for pizza on Friday night and then just hanging out at home that evening. Ainsley had soccer first thing Saturday AM, and the weather was perfect. We hit the autowash express after soccer to clean up the mommy-mobile... turned out the owner was also from Toronto! He noted my TML license plate and decals and offered Ains free treats for cheering for the BEST team! HA
Our neighbourhood pool opened on Saturday and Ainsley braved the cool water to swim for a bit. Off to do some shopping, drop flowers off for Ms. Karen as it was her birthday, then home for a nice dinner... it was a fun day.
Ainsley is definitely one of the most special girls on earth... she is sweet and pure and full of love. Her little eyes twinkle when she is thinking about the next fun thing to do! She says she "hates shopping" but had such a fun time picking out a couple of new shirts for me this weekend... she has a good eye! Her giggles are infectious and her smile will melt your heart. My girl - she's one of a kind - and I love her to the moon and back.
Lastly - congrats to Team Mullen in NJ on the birth of little Caitlin! Congrats you guys - enjoy every moment!
