Slept in a little. Got moving, breakfast and called Grammy and Grandpa – and off we go again to Magic Kingdom!
First stop – Swiss Family Robinson Tree House. (Lots of stairs and climbing!) Hit a fast pass for The Jungle ride, and then hit the Pirates of the Caribbean. Stopped by the Tikki bird show to pass the last few minutes of our wait for the Jungle… I think the jungle ride used to be 20,000 leagues under the Sea… but not 100% sure.
Fast Passed the Big Thunder Mountain and then took the raft over to Tom Sawyer Island. The Fast Pass is really one of the coolest things about Disney right now – we really enjoyed the way the passes all worked out!
After Big Thunder it was over to the Crystal Palace for lunch with Pooh and Friends! Pretty good food, and again – excellent considerations with the specific food needs. Lots of pictures, full bellies – Grammy wanted to hit the Haunted Mansion so off we went! Once that ride was over, Grammy and Grandpa headed back to camp… we took off for Mickey and Minnie’s Houses, the Winnie the Pooh Ride and a little shopping. Met Mickey Mouse and got some pictures… rode the Barnstormer Coaster – then high tailed it to the boat to get back, change and scramble for dinner over at the Grand Floridian Café.
Dinner was EXCELLENT – fabulous food and service – then home, and again – to bed. We’re going to need a vacation from our vacation – this is beautiful and completely amazing – but my goodness, we walk and run and play all day! We’re all tuckered out!!
Highlights of the Day – Matthew – Big Thunder Mountain. Ainsley – Haunted Mansion AND Big Thunder Mountain.
