...and we did! Well, not "we" as in "me" since I can't vote yet - but what the hell! Obama wins in a major ass kicking way! Whoo hoo! I will say that McCain's concession speech last night was the best 10 minutes that man has had in the last 10 months - whomever was in charge of writing that speech should have been in charge the whole time, and perhaps the race would have been more interesting and tighter...
Third trimester is here. Sort of seems surreal... She's not been wiggling around nearly as much today which always freaks me out... trying to just not stress though.
Looking forward to a yummy, belated birthday dinner (hers, not mine!) with my good friend Lee Ellen tonight at a greek place here in Raleigh. It's so nice to love food again!
Starting to think about Christmas shopping and making "the list". Is it just me or is everyone sort of stressed (more than normal) about how to keep the holidays festive yet mind the budget? We allocate funds monthly into a "Christmas" account over the course of the year so it doesn't all just sneek up on us in the form of credit card debt... but even still - trying to find the balance between keeping it fun and keeping it real is prooving to be a challenge!
