It was her first go at swim team, and in the begining, she could not even swim the "kid length" of the pool - 15 yards. Tonight - she swam freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke all in one meet! And she WON HER BREASTSTROKE HEAT!!!!!!!!!!
Swim team is a HUGE commitment - but I think it was pretty worth it. I am so proud of Ains - I was re-watching the video footage of her tonight and it brought tears to my eyes I am so proud. She loves it, she works SO hard, and it's paying off. I love that this is her thing... SHE is the swimmer.
Rock on Ains! You're the best!!! :)
