And So It Begins...

This Sunday October 9th is Thanksgiving in Canada.  I am picking up my turkey tonight, and combing through recipes in books and online as we get ready to kick off the best time of year.  Ainsley and I will be baking Grammy's famous apple pie on Saturday afternoon to get ready for Sunday dinner. 

I can't wait.  Leftovers on Monday.  Turkey soup next week.  Home made cranberry sauce.  (I have to buy cranberries down here in November/December and freeze them until the next October because the stores don't bring them out here yet.  )

Bring it on.

In my husbands words - it's month one of three months of turkey.  Bliss.
