Today is a special day... not just "9 months" - but 39 weeks. Meaning the world has now had Amelia on the outside longer than I had her on the inside!!
This has been a crazy week so far - my sweet friend K had major surgery on Monday to remove her entire large intestine due to colon cancer (she's my age)... Lynch's type (meaning organ based, genetic cancer). They also did a complete hysterectomy since Lynch's likes to hop over there next. She came through surgery well... a little too much fluid loss is keeping her BP low and she's still feeling crappy. They're hopping her up on RBC's tonight so hopefully the tide starts to turn tomorrow. The best news so far was her all clear pathology report today - no further evidence of disease... so that ROCKS.
Amelia has been home with some virus - snot, low grade fever and a *tiny* touch of croupy cough but she's on the mend now.
Matt dosed up to 386mg today - Rocked it. No issues.
Ainsley has had a trying week of poor choices and disrespectful behaviour towards me in particular - not sure what is going on... is the 'middle' thing kicking in?? Planning some one on one time this weekend (my folks are in town - YAY!) so hopefully I can get inside her head a little and help her out.
I've run just over 8 miles this week so far, and planning another ~4 tomorrow, as well as Saturday! Feeling great!
Bulmer... out!
