Just look what a year can do!
This tree is growing like crazy, and the blooms this spring are amazing! The lilac scent is beautiful and heady - it whispers across my nose in the morning when I first go outside... reminding me of these awesome women in my life, and how they never gave up on me or believing in me and what I wanted so badly. They kept me growing.
The tree is sort of like me. It took some time for him to bloom - but it was worth the wait.

What is the Dark Side?
Well, the dark side is more a who than a what.
Remember when we all used to be on BBC? Some of us split off from there when things got a little crazy with personalities, etc - and we jokingly said we were walking over the 'the dark side' in that we were no longer private or anonymous behind the walls of BBC. We have become very close friends - kinda like you and I - even though not all of us have met IRL. Some of us have met up - and we hope that ALL of us can get together maybe next year. One of us is expecting #2 so can't travel this year!!
